The recent acquisition of a tower producer by the Brogan Community has garnered attention, signaling a strategic move to enhance their influence in the industry and solidify their position as a major player in the market. This acquisition sets the stage for increased success and growth for Brogan Community in the years to come. In this discussion, we will examine the specifics of this purchase and consider the potential implications for both Brogan Community and the tower production sector as a whole.
CAS, established in 2010, is the creator of the innovative “stylish tower”, a modern structure that is connected to the main building and inclined alongside rack & pinion hoists for access during construction. This design has been implemented globally in high-rise buildings where multiple hoists are arranged around a central access tower, significantly reducing the amount of cladding required during construction and providing a central access point for vertical entry into the building, including the option of an integrated staircase.
The stylish tower is widely utilized by high-rise access companies, with Brogan Community first utilizing it in conjunction with the Stros 4050 Colossus hoist on the fifty-three-story Madison Amory Tower project at Canary Wharf in 2018. Following the acquisition, CAS’s founding director, Tony Faulkner, will join Brogan Community in a global sales role to further promote the stylish tower for various applications, such as street gantries and loading bays and docks.
Tony Faulkner expressed, “When we decided to sell CAS, we received significant interest from the market, including hoist manufacturers and access suppliers. Brogan Community quickly emerged as the ideal partner to expand the reach of our stylish tower to a broader market in the UK and internationally.” Brogan Community, a specialist provider of access systems in the UK, Ireland, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia, is also expanding into new markets in Europe and the US.
Director Wayne Smith highlighted the growing demand for the stylish tower globally and emphasized the benefits of adding manufacturing capabilities to enhance their appeal to new customers and applications. He stated, “We believe the CAS design is unmatched globally. Its lightweight alloy construction allows for easy prefabrication at ground level before installation, and its exceptional load-bearing capacity can support buildings exceeding 500 meters in height.”
The CAS stylish tower design complements Brogan Community’s existing range of access systems, which includes hoists, scaffolding, mast climbers, crane decks, and cradles. The company is actively seeking additional acquisitions and international partnerships in specialized high-rise access, as well as expanding into the production of building hoists and related industries like access platforms for the wind energy sector.
