“Connections” is the latest puzzle game introduced by The New York Times. The objective of the game is to categorize a set of 16 words into four distinct groups by identifying the connections between them. Each puzzle resets daily at midnight, presenting a new level of difficulty. Similar to “Wordle,” you can track your progress and compare your scores with other players.
Some puzzles are more challenging than others. If you are struggling with today’s “Connections” puzzle, consider the following tips and hints. And if you still find it challenging, we will reveal the solutions at the end of the day.
Playing “Connections” involves arranging 16 words into four sets of four by identifying the connections that bind them together. These connections can range from titles of video game franchises to names of chain restaurants. While some words may seem to fit multiple categories, there is only one correct answer. You can rearrange the grid of words to better visualize the potential connections.
Each group is color-coded for easy identification, with yellow being the first to solve, followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words and submit your answer. Correct answers will remove the words from the grid and reveal the connecting theme. Incorrect answers will count as mistakes, with a limit of four mistakes before the game ends.
